2004 LS front end noise

Hey guys. I have a 2004 Lincoln LS8. Been a great car. Just replaced all 8 coil packs and runs great. It has 115k miles on it now. Within the last 5-10k miles a front end 'humming' noise has started and gradually gets a little worse. Its worse at higher speeds and when I make a left turn going 25mph +. When I turn right the noise almost goes away. I replaced/rotated the tires and aligned it. Could this be the pass front hub? I pulled the tire off and it doesn't feel like there is any play in it. I read somewhere that it could possibly be the exhaust rubbing the firewall???? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a front hub bearing for sure. You just need to make sure you replace the correct side. Each bearing has 2 bearings in it, one to get load from right turns and one side to take loads from left turns. Most of the time only the inboard side of the bearing fails from road grim. But LS is sealed so no biggie there. FYI the front wheel bearings come in hubs only with ABS sensors and they can be total frozen in bears to get out. I had to not kill my hubs so I could not remove them with a huge hammer. That might make removal faster.

Thanks for the help! I am going to order a hub tomorrow!
